MOUNTAIN SOUL

The Sangre de Cristos Neon piece, set in motion and given twenty seconds to breathe. The animation begins where the static image begins — pure green on black, the mountain forms silent, the circuit board a faint suggestion above the valley. Then the signal activates: the circuit traces light up one by one from the valley floor upward, stars ignite across the dark sky in sequence, the river begins to pulse with light at its center. As the animation progresses, color bleeds in at the edges — violet at the mountain peaks, cyan where the circuit board meets the sky — as if the landscape is warming up, coming online, remembering what it is. Mountain Soul is the Sangre de Cristos series not as image but as experience — the same geology, the same circuit board, now moving through time.
