Legal Framework for Digital & Physical Assets
Unless otherwise stated in a written contract, BasicGlitch retains full copyright of all artwork created. The client is granted a non-exclusive license to use the artwork based on the tier purchased.
Work on custom commissions begins only after payment is confirmed. For high-tier projects (Quantum & Singularity), a 50% non-refundable deposit may be arranged via contact.
Revisions are defined as minor adjustments to color, lighting, or specific small details. Fundamental changes to the composition or subject after work has reached the rendering phase may incur additional "Redrafting" fees.
Due to the digital nature of the products and the labor involved, no refunds will be issued once work has commenced. If a project is cancelled by the artist, a full refund will be provided.
BasicGlitch is handcrafted digital art. We do not use generative AI to create the core compositions or characters in our commissions, ensuring your art is a unique artifact of human creativity.
A "Commercial Buyout" is a premium agreement that transfers high-level distribution rights to the client. This is required for clients intending to mass-produce physical merchandise or utilize the artwork as a core brand identity for-profit. Buyout agreements include exclusive perpetual licenses and the prohibition of third-party sub-licensing. To initiate a buyout discussion, please contact licensing@basicglitch.art.
