Take Night-Fishing the Arkansas River — its calm vaporwave stripes, its quiet midnight energy, Broboticus patient at the water's edge — and run it through a system that's starting to fail. The stripes have fractured into reds and purples and circuit-traced patterns. The fishing rod bleeds red where it crosses into the corrupted zones. A red border has appeared around the entire frame like a warning that wasn't there before. Broboticus himself has gone warm — outlined now in gold and cream rather than the cool white of the original — and remains completely still through all of it. The glitch is everywhere except him.
