BROBOT NOIR

Midnight. A wet alley. A robot in a trench coat and fedora, cigarette in one hand, revolver in the other, a single pink neon sign glowing behind him. He doesn't answer questions. He asks them. Case Study 42 has a chapter they don't put in the field reports. Trench coat belted, fedora at the correct angle, revolver held low, smoke rising from the cigarette in a curl that the alley air has decided to turn into something decorative. The halftone texture on his face and coat places this in the visual vocabulary of a 1940s pulp cover. He has information. He's not sharing it tonight.
