SKULLASTIC ENDEAVOR
COLLECTION: MOTION ART
One skull. Fifteen seconds. Every color the spectrum contains. Skullastic Endeavor is a single ornate skull cycling through the full chromatic range — starting in deep midnight blue, igniting through neon green to a blinding white-gold overexposure, then cooling through violet and purple back to the deep end of the dial. The skull's surface is not bare bone — it's covered in Celtic scroll work and Art Nouveau filigree, symmetrical, elaborate, every curve deliberate. In each eye socket an inward-spiraling vortex rotates slowly throughout the animation. In the four corners of the frame, fractal spiral galaxies pulse in sync with the color state of the skull. The neon energy aura surrounding the skull breathes with the color changes — electric when the palette is hot, cosmic when it cools. Where its companion piece Psylent Skulls compresses three mosaic skulls into four rapid seconds, Skullastic Endeavor gives one ornate skull the full fifteen to make its case. This is BasicGlitch operating at the intersection of sacred geometry, psychedelic color theory, and the memento mori tradition — a skull that refuses to be still, a reminder of mortality that is also, unmistakably, alive.
