BROBARTICUS — THE ARTIST

This is Broboticus in the studio — lab coat on, palette loaded, record spinning from the turntable mounted in his head. He's painting. What he's painting is himself, or a version of himself, or the idea of himself — the canvas shows another robot mid-stroke. The neon green line work on black gives the piece the feeling of a blueprint come to life, a technical drawing that gained sentience and decided to make something. Paint splatters across the coat like evidence. He's been at this a while.
